Njörður’s

Kirsty Dickens has spent twenty-six years trying to be the ‘good girl.’ But she was never thin enough, smart enough, or talented enough to win her mother’s love. She could not even manage to hold onto the ‘right’ man.

But her ex-boyfriend’s parting gift to her is getting her into deep trouble with those erotic romance stories of Viking brothers who kidnap their wife. Yes, singular. One wife with brothers. If that is not bad enough, there is spanking, rope, and all kinds of other kinky stuff in those stories.

But that’s just fiction. Those kinds of things don’t happen in the ‘real’ world, not in modern London, right?

Modernity – brothers Svein, Mikael, and Bjⱷrn are battling time, the seas, and one another to preserve their way of life that is almost as ancient as the rising fjords they call home.

Svein has spent over three decades fishing the North Seas. Since he was seven-years-old, it has been home, mistress, and wife. He will do whatever it takes to ensure that way of life continues. Except, none of that matters if there is not a son to pass it on to. And that requires a wife…

Mikael grew up in his brother’s shadow, always second best, the second mate. All he ever wanted was something, someplace, someone all his own. He thought he had found that. Until the day his ex-wife walked out, leaving him to raise their daughter alone. The last thing he wants is another one…

Bjⱷrn is every woman’s fantasy. With the good looks of Thor and the mind of Einstein, he is the total package. But like the trickster god Loki, his easy smile and quick wit hides the pain. Something is missing. More like someone…

Their One – the woman who can heal the pains of the past, draw them together as a family, and give them the sons they need to ensure the future. A shieldmaiden to fight back the tides of modernity side by side. Someone who loves them all the same, but differently.

And in return, their rope and pain will free her to be the ‘good girl’ she was meant to be.

Rated: XX This is among my strongest erotica. Not only are the sex-scenes frequent and graphic, but the content touches upon several taboo subjects, including: BDSM (some of which pushes the boundaries in alternative lifestyles including knife play and orgasm control and conditioning), polyandry (reverse harem), brothers, even questionable elements of kidnapping/non-consent.

Nonetheless, this remains typical Tara Cox Literary Erotica with strong elements of literary fiction, focusing upon the individual development of the characters, the growth of these unusual relationships, and upon the complex societal issues of modernity, individualism, and acceptance of others.

Due to the controversial nature of this series, it should be taken as a whole. Only then can you appreciate the emotional growth that these individuals and this family undergo. It also puts many of those controversial elements into perspective.

  1. Will you be writing Georgia’s story? I read these on Literotica and would love to know if Nil’s really does kidnap her for Karl.

    1. Yes, I plan to write a continuation of that series. But as I shared on my blog recently, I am struggling with the Njörður’s series. And especially the toxic masculinity that makes them think kidnapping is alright. I realize this is fiction and fantasy but I also believe that writers possess a unique capacity for changing this world. I want my words to be for good, not to perpetuate old and broken systems. But even as I write this, I am one step closer to that. Please be patient and I hope you’ll enjoy my other stories until then. Goddess bless, Tara

  2. The timing of this post was perfect…. perfectly horrible in that it dashed my hopes that the third Njordur book would be coming soon! I’m practicing patience, though, and will find another of your wonderful books to satisfy me until you are satisfied with your work! I know you’ll get there and find the right answers for you and your characters. I found you only recently and am so pleased to see your large body of work.

I did get confused about being unable to find the ending sections of Tight Fittin’ Jeans, but I’ll look again. The Texas Series was also very good, but I also had trouble finding some concluding chapters. I will go back through your website and blog and figure it out!

I know the wait will be worth it!

    1. Michelle, Tight Fittin’ Jeans was rolled into the #TroubleTexasStyle saga. I am in the process of editing and posting that now. Then, I’ll tackle Njörður’s Wife.
