What You’ve Been Waiting For

Or at least some of you. I made a few of your very happy today. Yes, it is your beloved Jack.

Just another Greywolf man caught in the web of those Monroe women.

Or so it would seem.

I actually did rough edits and re-writes to that part of our story this week. I was pleasantly surprised at how much of the original story was useable. I had feared the changes I made to their backstory, plotline, and motivations would mean that I had to start from scratch. But somewhere between 75% and 90% was transferrable.

Which meant I got to move forward with some other bits of the story. A couple of days ago, I wrote what I feel is the most powerful scene since Blood of Patriots and Tyrants. But ya’ll will get to decide that for yourselves on Monday. Then we will return for a bit more Abby and Jack. The next couple of chapters will be longish. But don’t get spoiled by that.

Of course, there are other things happening, too. I have struggled quite a bit with this CampNaNoWriMo. My project for this April is editing #TroubleTexasStyle. All 290K+ words of it. Honestly, it is kicking my ass, putting it all into chronological order. It will be much easier to edit the final third of it and #Reconciliation, too.

And of course, our @HomeCrazzyHome trundles along as well. My partner sold his old house. I baked cookies and brownies and took them over there earlier. A nice housewarming. Alan did not get it. Oh, the trials and tribulations of being Southern and American in the UK. They don’t get the concept of just being nice. And as screwed up as things are back home, there are some things I miss. Or maybe it isn’t even like that anymore?

I have also been madly planting for our #urbanfarm and #homestead. This week I went through over 100 little pots and a dozen or so trays. Speaking of which…

See ya’ll Monday. Have a great weekend, stay safe, and get out in the garden if the weather permits.

Goddess bless and protect us all,
Tara
