I had coffee today to catch up with my older daughter after my trip back home. The major topic of conversation was culture. Not the high brow stuff like Cordon Blu restaurants, West End shows and the opera, but culture as defined by Google…
Culture is the characteristics and knowledge of a particular group of people, defined by everything from language, religion, cuisine, social habits, music and arts.
You see a lot has happened lately to make me think long and hard about the role that culture plays in all of our lives. Especially my trip. It really was like going home…like I just belonged there. And I miss it…oh, sweet goddess, do I miss America.
I am still processing all of that…and working on a Serious Sunday that takes things to a whole new level as well as some sexy Nordic fishermen action…
