No, seriously, my Sergeant Mike Miracle Tour series that I began four years ago Lit with award winning Red, White and Blue Halloween has always been more a labor of love for me than any other of my writing. If you have not read these stories, they are a marked departure from my spicy erotica.

The first book in the series, My Country Tis of Thee, made it as high as number 14 in the Free Military Fiction category at Amazon in July. It has seven rating and a perfect 5 star score. If you have not read it yet, it will be FREE at Amazon this Friday and Saturday.

But that is not what I want to talk about…that is my new baby Labor’s End, Book 2 in the series. I have spent the past month working on it. I had actually tried twice before…only to lose everything I had written (about 10K words each time) when files got corrupted or computers went kaput. This time I was determined to persevere and with help from my fabulous editor Jim the Brit and my beta reader Anne A. Lois, I did. Though admittedly, some of my motivation is doing justice to the struggles of my very own Mike.
